Mesoamerica 2019 - Home Arrival Interlude

And today Wife and I returned home to Albuquerque. The flights home were totally uneventful. There was the usual mad scramble to get laundry going and shopping done. It is very nice to be coming back from one of our adventures with only 7 hours of travel time and only dealing with one time zone.

But as Wife remarked, there is something about the travel experience. You put out a lot of energy that you are not even aware you are dealing with a myriad of adjustments to culture and environment not mention the constant decision-making. It is all fine while you are in the travel mode. But then the flight home starts and you shut down that aspect of your persona and realize you are really tired and really looking forward to the mundane routine that is everyday life.

But fear not because the posts are still coming. I have three more Cuba posts to do and two more Mexican posts. And then there will be the usual navel-gazing postmortem posts, and believe me that will be an interesting one because this was a truly eye opening trip.

See you back here soon with bizillions more pictures LOL.
