No Pictures Yet

Because it is taking forever to get ourselves moved in. The big stuff was all done but their boxes to be unpacked and put away, files to be refiled. Downstairs there are 15 boxes of books (some not unpacked since we moved to this house 7 years ago) that are going into the library.

We are a one couple stimulus plan buying two new TV's (that's 100% more than we've purchased over the last 15 years), bookcases for the library, a new sofa for the living room, blinds for the new addition, carpet cleaning for all the rugs. (pant, pant, pant)

Fortunately work is still very, very strong. We're getting the shaft on our ending home appraisal because the industry is so freaked out. The appraisal for our ending mortgage came in 11% less than the one done for the construction loan done just in October. That means we'll be pay PMI. But we'll still have a rate lower than our previous mortgage.

We'll wait. You've got a lot to do. It must be such a relief to finally be able to move in!

New TV's!!! Yay!!! Something to watch soccer on!

I'm sure you'll work on getting rid of that PMI in short order. That sucks. Bastards!!!

Is the reduced appraisal because they did shoddy work? :-)

wow 15 years since the last time you bought a TV. will you be overwhelmed by the shininess of all the new features?

You may have single handedly saved the economy.

You mean that's ALL you've bought? :P

I'm glad you're finally getting to enjoy your new home a bit, though, instead of having it all torn up. That must be a good feeling.

It is a relief to be in Terri. It is really cool space if I must say so myself.

Alexis, not only am I overwhelmed by the shininess but I am expecting to be overwhelmed by the picture...when I finally figure out to use the remote and get it turned on...which I expect will be no later than this fall.

Indeed Weaselmomma. I'm expecting some sort of Obama citation for being this patriotic (though I doubt much of what we bought was made in the USA).

It is a relief Mike, though Wife is still going nuts because there are all kinds of lose ends that still need to be resolved.

This is all so exciting. It won't be long before your whole house will feel brand new.
