Asia Mega Tour 2026 - Day Twenty Seven - Busselton Jetty

Today, we headed out for the town of Busselton and the famous Busselton Jetty. Busselton is one of the oldest communities in Western Australia. For the full history and town information here is the Wikipedia write up. Busselton Jetty was originally developed to provide services when Busselton was an active port. It is the longest wooden pier in the Southern Hemisphere, is over 1.8 kilometers long, and is now a major tourist attraction.

Once again, I was fully into photography lust mode. Today, I was using advice that I should put my camera on full automatic (under the theory that the camera computer is actually smarter than you are). I also kept it at one focal length (12) with the exception of the bird photos.

Glad they clearly denote no cabbage or carrots because that is what I usually think of first when looking at a gelato place

There are a number of convenient 'flame clothing stores' near the Jetty

Western Australia was known for its party culture which is sadly on the decline

Whereas the culture of naked body floor washing is alive and well
