On my hike last weekend, I decided that instead of focusing on the vistas and views, that I would focus on the more immediate. So here are some examples of other types of beauty in the Sandias.
Cool! I love rocks. The ones I usually get to see are on lake shores. Last year when we went to Lake Superior, Mark and I spent a ton of time examining the rocks on shore and collected a few to take home.

looks like live rock that has been dead for a long, long time... Under salt water at some point..
I love to climb on rocks. I'm ready to go now!!! Need to find some big rocks!
Those are some interesting moss formations. (I'm assuming it's moss at least.) Never seen anything quite like that.
