Drowning in a Sea of Car Repairs
Ye olde Durango (12 years - 140k miles) is going through a phase of multiple problems. It's now in for the third time in three weeks. First the brakes, then a ball joint. Now it's the rear differential. We're up to the mid 4 figures at a time I really didn't need this expense. Sigh. And this doesn't count the little incident with Wife's car which we can't speak about in public.

I'm sorry. It seems there's something going around. We're having similar issues. Brad's truck needed some repairs. The springs broke on the garage door. All the little extra expenses for the kitchen remodel...
And of course, since you mentioned you can't speak in public about your wife's incident, I'm wildly curious as to what it could possibly be!
ruh roh! What did Mom do? Cars always seem to pick the worst time to go down.
Ugh. I hate getting car repairs. :( I feel for you.
