Malaysia 2022/23 - #6 - Melaka Homestay 2.0

Our transfer from ginormous house in the suburbs that met almost none of our desires to small high-rise apartment that, while sparse, seems so much better suited to our current mentality is complete. It was time consuming, having to pack again, make the physical move and get resettled. But other than than it was a smooth process.

To me travel is way more than just seeing things and checking off boxes of where you've been. It is about challenge and personal growth. As I've mentioned the Covid years greatly altered Wife and my expectations on what we were looking for. Looking at the apartment we've moved to, it would seem to be so much less than what we had before. But it also has key factors such as a view, simplicity of layout, a size more in keeping with our current mindset, and proximity to actual city. As we are settling in here, Wife and I are both realizing just how many things at the prior place had been grating on us. If you haven't read Wife's post related to the former house, you should

Well this little apartment won't need the full on video treatment our last required. A few pictures will capture it all.
