Malaysia 2022/23 - #2 - Malaysia Living

The decision to come to Malaysia was hatched on the spur of the moment last September. We had just arrived in Sicily,. We were enjoying it and reminisced on how great it was to get family together and how we didn't want to be in the cold during the holidays. On the whim, we researched and found some good deals on both accommodation and air travel. So we booked a good sized place on the theory, if you have it, they will come.

Except they didn't. For all kinds of good reasons. And with the refund policy on these properties being super short, the result was our ending up with a rather HUGE house for just the two of us. But then again, de-I is used to living in a Tower, so maybe it is poetic justice. Here is my video tour of our home for the next month.

Arrival

Let's look at the overall home and grounds

And in back to the pool (which sadly we have found in our aged condition we can neither safely get in or out - more on this later)

Entering the house

And now to the 'Lounge'

And then up to the second floor living area

And the Master Bedroom

And finally up to the highest floor

And now a brief foodie break

We went to our local supermarket which is housed in a small mall. To our delight we found they have a mini-hawker mall, with locally owned stalls serving a wide variety of local food (more on local food later)

Wow, that is a lot of house for two people! Perhaps you need to get walkie talkies?

I'm sad there's no market stall in the big honking house.
