We at de-Intimidator work our hardest to be responsive to our loyal readers. You asked. More Seaside Villages with Old Town Pictorials! We respond
(Wait! You said NO MORE seaside villages with old town pictorials? Oopsie.)
So it was off we went to Seaside Village with Old Town 35 of 878 (that's just here on the Spanish Mediterranean Coast - actually I just made those numbers up. But there are a heck of a lot of them)
As we set out, we looked out and noticed all the supermarkets were closed. As we drove we noticed all the stores and gas stations were closed. I posed to Wife, "I wonder if it is a holiday today?" I went online and sure enough, it was Valencian Community Day for the Valencia region. What did you do to celebrate? Post your pictures in the comments.

A 'Real' Old Church
You can see Calp and the Ifac from Altea. You can't see Altea from Calp
Would we live up in a town like this?
You can clearly drive up
If you don't mind backing your car up most of the way!

Artwork Study
I saw this at the church and am pretty sure it is a Madonna and Child.
Interesting expression on the Mother
But is this really a picture of a young or infant boy?

I am hoping, really hoping that the 'kinder' noted below among the ice cream flavors is not the German word for children.

but glorious that restaurants are actually still open. Otherwise how to acquire the ice cream bait to lure the quarry in with?
As a vegetarian, I do not eat Kinder-flavored ice cream :) but it´s very useful to know what bait (er, sacrifce) works to entice the Espouses Fotograficus for when I visit.
