Sadness
Just got off of Skype saying goodbye to Daughter #2, 2B, and 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3. They are visiting with Daughter #1 and family because tomorrow morning they are on the plane to Manila, Philippines for their 2 year stint. We've gotten quite used to being able to see them 3 or 4 times a year as they've been in the US for the last 6 years. That's just not going to be the case as they go off on the diplomatic corps career. We're sad.

It is hard to be away from family. Nothing is the same as being there, but when I think about how only 20 years ago (when I was studying abroad), I had to get by with monthly phone calls and lots of letters, I'm really grateful for video chats and emails.
It's hard being away from you guys! I think we would all like to see each other more often :(

aww... so sad when family goes further away. I see my brother and sister mayyyybe once a year. If I'm lucky, twice. I live 3 hours from my parents though, so that one isn't too bad. Hope they have/had a safe trip!
We miss you guys, too!
