Our intrepid crew of two Elder Fleet officers (and enlisted people as we do everything) have all loaded and ready to go for the great Cefalú, Sicily colonization adventure. Eldership Fleet Command is anxious to to get data on the longest stay in one place ever attempted.
Packing is complete with everything loaded from underwear to tripod to microwave popcorn (don't ask). We have placed our bets on Uber reservation - will they actually show up at 5:15 as reserved? I don't know. History says the odds are 50-50.
The Magical Unicorn Pony God of Travel has already announced it is on the field and ready to engage. We fly to Munich, Germany arriving Saturday to fly on to Palermo, Italy. On Friday the Lufthansa pilots are going on strike for 24 hours. Will it be over by the time we arrive? Who knows.
Let the travel adventures begin.
