Sorry for using this 20th century military nautical analogy. In the last century, in between wars, they would take warships that were not needed and put them out of commission but wouldn't destroy them. They were just put into 'storage', what was called being mothballed. When a new conflict would arise, often these old vessels were taken back into service; they were taken out of 'mothballs'.
That's what it feels like for Wife and I. For, God willing, negative Covid tests, proper paperwork filled out, she and I will be TRAVELING! Yes TRAVELING yet again as of old.
We have a trip to Sicily (Italy) planned. We are to to be gone for a month. It is the first international travel for our own enjoyment we've done since the pandemic started.
I don't want to jinx anything. Let's just hold our breath and see if it all goes as it should and we are on our international flight before the next week is out.
